Structured Commodity Finance, London, Highly Competitive
A top tier Japanese bank are looking to hire both an Associate and one Vice President level to join the energy structured trade finance desk In London.
Great opportunity to join a bank with a strong balance sheet and appetite for risk.
The Role
-Role will be structuring and syndicating structured debt finance transaction across trade finance and commodity finance,
-Responsible for originating, structuring and executing trade finance transactions for European borrowers in Europe,
-Structure transactions and prepare term sheets and offers and sponsor/defend credit files and monitor post closing risks,
-You will arrange and promote structured trade finance solutions to well known commodity traders trading coffee, crude oil and fuel as well as Transactional Finance in Steam Coal and Iron Ore. You will be involved with working-out of a distressed financing.
The Candidate
-Essential to have experience of structured commodity finance or trade finance,
-Essential to have skills in technical structuring/ origination and execution of deals,
-My client can only hire Associate- VP level hires,;
-Successful client will need to have worked with corporate oil clients/ traders and be familiar with short term and long term financing.
